From 6 to 11 p.m. on September 23, come out to view the night sky with members of the Northern Virginia Astronomy Club. Club embers set up their telescopes and binoculars to show you the wonders of the universe as seen by amateurs. Plan to arrive before dark to watch the telescopes mounts being assembled and aligned. Ask questions and learn about the equipment. Bring water and snacks or perhaps a picnic supper. (Please note that this event will have to be cancelled if skies are overcast or if rain is forecast.)
