How does sword swallowing work? - We will show you live on stage up close and in person – revealing the scientific secrets to this ancient art which dates back over 4000 years to its origins in India. We actually helped design and create a museum exhibit for Ripley’s Believe It Or Not! Showing and explaining the science of sword swallowing – which is currently touring science museums across North America.
Can you eat fire with a moustache? It turns out you can. You’ll see KRHS teacher Mr. Fleet eat and breathe real red-hot blazing fire & brimstone. Before becoming a teacher, Mr. Fleet set a world record as “The Fastest Fire Eater in the World” and still holds that record today.
Is that a real snake? Yes! Our beautiful Burmese Python is almost as beautiful as its charmer. This deadly duo does the Dance of Death in a breathtaking act sure to have you on the edge of your seat.
That’s just a few of the acts from our adult performers, the kids really steal the show.
Their favorite act right now is the straight jacket escape. All 3 boys have custom made knitted straight jackets which bind their arms behind their backs. Can they escape? Will they escape? And most important to our sibling rivalry – WHO will get out first?!
Step up, Step in and let the Fun Begin!
We are running this show as a fundraiser for our Theatre Department. So ALL ticket sales go directly into the KRHS Theatre budget which allows us to have high quality student productions throughout the year.
But, it’s not just the money. Hopefully this Fleet Family Five show will draw in new audiences from the community that will be coming here for the first time.
Finally, the biggest reason we wanted to bring this show to Kettle Run – is to have fun! The whole Fleet family is excited to bring this carnival classic and uniquely American form of entertainment to this school. We just want to share the fun of our show with our friends and family here – the faculty, staff, and students of Kettle Run.
It’s your lucky day!
