Remington’s Main Street will be lined with classic vehicles including trucks, rat rods, motorcycles and tractors Saturday for their first annual car show. Citizens interested in registering their vehicles pay $15 the day of the event. Dash plaques available for the first 50 registrations. Trophies awarded for best car, truck, tractor, bike and rat rod; “Top 25”; Mayor’s choice; kid’s choice; and best in show. The event will also feature a 50/50 raffle, auctions, prize giveaways, children’s activities, face painting and food vendors. The Remington Baptist Church will host a free-will donation breakfast. All proceeds benefit the M.M. Pierce Elementary Parent Teacher Organization for the construction of a new playground. Free admission for spectators.
