Part Time Administrative/Marketing Assistant

A fantastic opportunity to work in gorgeous Rappahannock County, Virginia! You will work under the direction of the Winery Owner to support our administrative and marketing initiatives. The Administrative and Marketing Assistant is responsible for providing excellent assistance to the management team by removing routine and administrative tasks from their daily activities. Generate excellent marketing impressions and materials including printed collateral, social media postings, images, website updates and communications to our community and guests.

This position requires drive and enthusiasm as well as proven office, computer, on-line and organizational skills and experience. Candidates must be well-spoken, polished, professional and have the ability to demonstrate warmth and grace with our staff and guests.
Key Responsibilities and Functions (A Position Description is Available):

 Set, communicate and attain goals for the Administrative and Marketing Department.
 Streamline operations, find cost reduction opportunities, correct errors at root cause so they do not reoccur.
 Create strategies and new business opportunities to help grow the business.
 Strong attention to detail while exuding a positive, uplifting, enthusiastic attitude at all times is critical.
 Keep the office and supply inventory orderly and organized at all times.
 Create and execute engaging, educational, memorable and positive guest experiences.
 Lead by example in all activities – the holder of this position must demonstrate integrity, professionalism and enthusiasm to set the example for everyone else.
 Work will be accomplished in the highest quality and most efficient manner possible (always seek improvement opportunities).
 Streamline operations, find cost reduction opportunities, correct errors at root cause so they do not reoccur.
 Create social media postings (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter) that are catchy, professional and informative. Postings include musicians, events, images, video, notifications, etc. Ensure correct tagging (@ and #) is used and drive traffic to the Narmada website to improve SEO.
 Cross post events and important information on other organizations websites (includes Chambers of Commerce, County / State / Municipal tourism websites and social media channels, etc.).
 Maintain and update the Narmada website. Add images, videos, events, and text content on a regular basis.
 Maintain the Website and Google Calendars (events and staff activities) and ensure that the information is correct and up to date at all times
 Professionally and thoughtfully respond to social media and review postings (Google Reviews, Yelp reviews, Facebook reviews, etc.).
 Organize and maintain Company Policies, Procedures and Protocols Handbooks.
 Performs other duties as assigned by management
 Must be available to work Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.
 Must have demonstrated sales ability and excellent organizational and customer service skills.
 Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, social media platforms and websites required.
 In the future, assume and maintain full control and ownership of the Wine Club and ensure that Club Members are communicated with on a regular basis and in an upbeat and respectful way. Organize and improve the program to boost interest, profitability and awareness.

Other Requirements:

 Must have reliable transportation.
 Must be willing to submit to and pass a drug and background check.
 Self-starter who is able to manage multiple priorities.
