67-year-old Catlett man dies after motorcycle hit
The accident took place in the 4900 block of Dumfries Road, northeast of Warrenton.
A 67-year-old Catlett man died of injuries he suffered Thursday morning when a car hit his motorcycle near Warrenton.
Riding west on his BMW K 1200LT, Raleigh G. Nelson had slowed to make left turn from the 4900 block of Dumfries Road (Route 605), when a westbound car hit him at 11:56 a.m., according to state police.
The driver of the 2013 Ford Fusion, a 23-year-old Catlett man, suffered no injury, Trooper M.D. Brill reported.
Mr. Nelson died at the scene.

Cell phone, radio, whatever, something. The boy was obviously distracted in some way and not watching what was in front of him. It was broad daylight on a beautiful sunny day.
