This 6,000-square-foot home on 50 acres near Goldvein sold for $1 million.
Lakeside Homes LLC, a Warrenton homebuilder, also purchased several adjoining properties along Broad Run Church Road and Riley Road.
The Scott District sale tops the most recent list of Fauquier property transfers.
Also last week, a custom home on 50 acres near Goldvein sold for $1 million.
Built on Sugar Hill Lane in 2009, the 6,000-square-foot brick home has four bedrooms, 4-1/2 bathrooms and a geothermal heating/cooling system.
The property includes a 6,000-square-foot workshop, a 24-by-24-foot garage and a 1,200-square-foot apartment.
The Cedar Run District property went on the market two years ago with an asking price of $1.2 million, according to Zillow.com.

More houses and traffic, but the residents shot down a proposed Costco in New Baltimore several years ago because they didn't want the traffic. Sad that all that can be built in this county are retail stores, fast food restaurants, and houses.
