The second annual Fauquier Economic Summit will take place Thursday morning, June 13, near Warrenton.

The Fauquier Chamber of Commerce will host the event from 8 to 10 a.m. in the pavilion at Airlie.

“Why Fauquier?” will serve as the theme of the summit, focused on development, real estate, investment, finance, aviation, tourism, technology and other topics.

Featured speakers will include Tyler Carroll, a business development specialist at the Virginia Tourism Corp., and Jason El Koubi, executive vice president of the Virginia Economic Development Partnership.

Admission is $20 per person.

The event will feature a drawing for a one-week stay at two-bedroom condo in Ocean City, Md.
