A jazz fusion quartet will perform Saturday night for the third installment of the Bluemont Concert Series in downtown Warrenton.

The Robert Jospé Express will play on Culpeper Street, starting at 7:30 p.m. July 22.

Audience members bring lawn chairs and blankets to the lawn of the Warren Green Building at Culpeper and Hotel streets.

The band delivers a percussive-driven mix of jazz, rock, funk and Latin with a contemporary electric sound. The quarter features Robert Jospé on drums, with Butch Taylor on keyboards, Dane Alderson on electric bass and Brian Mesko on guitar.

The Robert Jospé Express released a double CD in October 2014. It features a mix of classic jazz compositions and styles and the quartet on “Doin’ It Up,” a mix of funky originals and well known rock and pop tunes.

Concert admission is $5 per person, $4 for Bluemont Friends and seniors, $2 for children younger than 12. Proceeds support Bluemont’s Artists-In-Education program in Fauquier schools.

The Bluemont concerts in Warrenton feature a beer and wine garden showcasing local beverages. Concert goers must be 21 or older and have a valid ID to purchase alcohol.

In the event of bad weather, the concert would move to Taylor Middle School at 350 E. Shirley Ave.
