Warrenton Independence Day parade photo slideshow

Photos by Cassandra Brown

Children decorated their bikes and dressed their dogs in red, white and blue for Warrenton’s traditional Fourth of July parade Wednesday morning.

The event drew more than 1,000 people to Main Street.

After the procession from Fifth Street to the old courthouse, the Fauquier Community Band played the appropriate patriotic songs. Families4Fauquier provided freeze pops, balloons, flags, dog treats and other patriotic giveaways.

The Civilian Club of Warrenton sponsors the annual 4th of July Children’s & Pet Parade.
