During April and May, the Presbyterian and Lutheran Services (PALS) church in Bealeton will offer an after-school program for 5th, 6th and 7th graders.

Led by a family and consumer science teacher, the program will emphasize positive values and life skills such as kitchen skills, manners, babysitting basics and personal money management. A scavenger hunt, games and information are also included in the curriculum.

The first meeting is Wednesday, April 3, at 4:15 p.m., and the cost is $10 per student.
