In its seventh year, Art of Piedmont will feature 21 local artists in a silent auction and reception from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, February 23, at the Middleburg Community Center.

The event will benefit the Middleburg Montessori School.

Each year, the show attracts about 300 attendees, with art sales totaling around $40,000. Fifty percent of the art sales go to support the school.

Available online, general admission tickets are $20 per person. VIP tickets are $50.

This year’s event will feature hors d'oeuvres from Field & Main in Marshall and a bar sponsored by Piedmont Fox Hounds.

Middleburg Montessori School is a nonprofit organization that provides programs for infants through 15-year- from Fauquier, Loudoun, Clarke and Frederick counties. The school does not turn families away for their inability to pay the full tuition. It provides financial aid to more than one-third of the student body. The school features bi-lingual, multi-age classroom communities where children have hands-on academic learning and develop a strong sense of resourcefulness. The school also focuses on building character, civic engagement, and personal responsibility.
