Big Picture: These guys have a 15-point plan

Two fellas who live north of Warrenton take a morning stroll as the work week resumes Monday. A third member of their party with equally-impressive antlers darted across the farm road seconds earlier.

Deer activity will pick up over the next few months as the “rut” or dating season begins, typically in late October.

Anecdotally, the herd in this area looks very healthy.
