Fauquier chamber starts monthly “Power Breakfast”

The Fauquier Chamber of Commerce will host a monthly “Business Networking Power Breakfast” beginning Friday, March 3, at the Stoneridge Events Center near Warrenton.

Scheduled the first Friday each month at the same location, the breakfasts will begin at 7:30 a.m.

Each breakfast will include “presentations and a whirlwind spin of roundtable introductions to enable each attendee to explain and offer their services to other participants by delivering a 45-second ‘elevator speech’,” chamber President Joe Martin said.

“We are going to have a lot of fun with this monthly event,” Mr. Martin added. “This unique form of round-robin networking gives everyone a chance to introduce their services to other regional business owners and executives in a fluid and lively environment.

“Once each person has introduced themselves to the group at their table, then everyone will move to the next assigned table to repeat their presentation to a new group of attendees. We expect each participant to deliver and receive nearly 50 business cards during the activities. It will be a great way to build both business relations and friendships.”

The cost per event will be $15 for chamber members and $20 for non-members.
