Ham and oyster dinner Saturday in Orlean

The Orlean Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department will serve raw and fried oysters — along with other items — from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday.
The Orlean Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department will host its annual ham and oyster fundraising dinner Saturday, April 7.

Volunteers will serve the all-you-can-eat meal from 4 to 8 p.m. in the station at 6838 Leeds Manor Road.

The menu will include fried and raw oysters, country ham, honey glazed ham, corn pudding, cole slaw, green beans, parsley potatoes, salad, rolls, homemade desserts, coffee and tea.

The cost will be $28 per adult and $8 for children younger than 9. A free “kiddies’ plate” of hot dogs and chips also will be available.
