Jayden Banks member of month at Boys & Girls Club

Member of the Month Jayden Banks with Boys & Girls Club of Fauquier Executive Director Lynne Richman Bell.
Jayden Banks, a third-grader at P.B. Smith Elementary School, was named Youth of the Month at the Boys & Girls Club of Fauquier for March.

“Jayden is consistently respectful in all club activities,” Front Desk Supervisor Sarah Hundley said.

“He approaches everything with a positive attitude and humility,” said Ginger O’Brien, the Warrenton club’s unit director.

“Jayden always helps the younger Club members,” added Kelley Smith, a club youth development specialist. “He is always honest about his homework in Power Hour (homework time) and completes it without a fuss.”

Ms. O’Brien also called Jayden “a model of sportsmanship and always is mindful of the other kids on the floor. He is a true blue club kid.”

The club unit in Warrenton celebrated Jayden’s award Friday afternoon with a brief award ceremony and discussion of what it means to “be great.”
