Post 72 sending hurricane relief donation to veterans

American Legion Post 72 in Warrenton has established a relief fund “for our comrades in the Houston area and Western Louisiana who have been adversely affected by the devastation of Hurricane Harvey.”

The local veterans’ organization will send a collective check to a post in the affected area to support their members in need. Along with the check, Post 72 will include a list of contributors (not amount).

To contribute, you may drop off a donation at the post.

Or, mail checks — payable to Post 72 with “Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund” on the memo line — to:
