Remington car, truck, tractor show April 21

Classic cars, rat rods, motorcycles and tractors will line Remington’s Main Street on Saturday, April 21.
The Town of Remington will host its first annual car show from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, April 21.

Main Street will be lined with classic vehicles including trucks, rat rods, motorcycles and tractors.

Citizens interested in registering their vehicles pay $15 the day of the event. Dash plaques available for the first 50 registrations. Free admission for spectators.

Trophies awarded for best car, truck, tractor, bike and rat rod; “Top 25”; Mayor’s choice; kid’s choice; and best in show.

The event will also feature a 50/50 raffle, auctions, prize giveaways, children’s activities, face painting and food vendors.

The Remington Baptist Church will host a free-will donation breakfast.

All proceeds will benefit the M.M. Pierce Elementary Parent Teacher Organization for the construction of a new playground.

The Remington Car Show planning committee consists of volunteers interested in the betterment and economic development of the town.
