The classes will begin this month and focus on diabetes medications.
“Each month there will be a new topic related to diabetes that we hope will help educate the diabetic patient and/or their caregiver or family member,” Remington Drug pharmacist Travis Hale said.
“As an independent community pharmacy, Remington Drug is passionate about what we do to improve the health of our community of diabetic patients,” Mr. Hale said. “We believe in a three-legged approach of diet, exercise, and medications to manage diabetes.”
Classes for June will take place:
• 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Thursday, June 8.
• 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Thursday, June 22.
• 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 29.
The free courses will be held at the Remington Volunteer Fire Department, 200 E Marshall St., Remington.
