Fauquier remote trash collection sites closed

These Fauquier County remote trash and recycling collection sites remain closed Monday, March 25, because of the snow:

• Catlett.

• Markham.

• Marshall.

• Morrisville.

• New Baltimore.

• Remington.

“Due to the severity of the snow, these locations may experience delayed opening on Tuesday, March 26,” says a public service announcement from the county.

Meanwhile the Fauquier landfill and collection site at Corral Farm, just south of Warrenton, opened on time at 7 a.m. Those facilities will remain open until 3 p.m., as usual.

To check the latest conditions on collection sites, call 540-422-8840.
