The awards went to bus drivers, custodians, a secretary/library aide, an instructional assistant, nutrition staffers, a nurse and a transportation dispatcher.
The school board this week honored 10 employees who work in support positions, such as bus drivers, nurses, instructional aides, cafeteria staffers and secretaries.
A first- and second-place “Tree Award” winners in five categories received cash awards of $500 and $250, respectively.
Part of the school system “Aspirations” strategic plan the Tree Awards recognize outstanding work accomplishments, interaction with others, demonstration of initiative, training and development activities and improvement of the work process.
