Excellent points! I was wondering the same thing about campaign funds. There is a site right there plain as day...https://fundrazr.com/01MERe?ref=ab_AiQegMVCFDmAiQegMVCFDm. Why claim to fund your own campaign after you've already received donations (per the dates on the site). Curious...

I was not there but I heard the American Legion indorsed Chris Cochran and the Fauquier Commander had a meet and greet for him. I heard Chris gave a stump speech and said that he wants to bring in a union to protect the deputies. he also said he was totally financing his campaign on his own because he did not want to be beholding to anyone. But according to the campaign financial reports he has already taken outside donations and he has setup donation sites to raise money anonymously. So is Chris just another lying yankee carpetbagging democrat police union boss trying to weasel in pretending to be a republican. And since it was the Fauquier Republican Party secrectray that setup the event, are they secretly behind all of this. Sounds to me like the new Fauquier Republican Party is no better than the last crew and will stoop to bringing in democrats to get rid of a good Sheriff who is doing a great job. Sounds to me like the Fauquier Republican Party lied abut not being behind getting Chris to run since they setup his event. I am not going to vote for someone who lies about their finances and hides their background just to try and win votes. If Crhis lied about not taking outside donations, what other lies has he told. And if the Republican Party lied about support Chris, what else have they lied about. It aint even near time for the election and already it smells rotten.
