Lt. Andy Marshall has served 17 years with the Fauquier County Sheriff’s Office.
Fauquier County sheriff’s Lt. Andrew Marshall on Friday graduated from the 267th Session the FBI National Academy Program at Quantico.
The 227-member class included men and women from 48 states, the District of Columbia, 25 international countries, three military organizations and eight federal civilian organizations. The graduation ceremony took place at the FBI Academy on March 17.
FBI Director James Comey gave the keynote address.
The FBI’s National Academy Program offers 10 weeks of advanced communication, leadership and fitness training for selected officers. On average, the officers have 21 years of law enforcement and usually return to their agencies in executive-level positions.
Lt. Marshall is a 17-year veteran of the sheriff’s office. Before starting career, Lt. Marshall served in the Law Enforcement Explorer Post 1077. He, his wife Allison and their daughter Hailey, live in Fauquier County.
