Fauquier Wolfpack heads to Regional Championship

The Fauquier Wolfpack 7th Grade All American Football Team will be heading to Virginia Beach this weekend to compete in the American Youth Football (AYF) Mid-Atlantic Regional Championships.

The Wolfpack is comprised of 21 players from in and around Fauquier County and are all 7th Graders. Having competed against Maryland, DC and Virgina teams over the past four months, the team has rolled to a 9-0 record.

Being ranked first in the region, The Wolfpack will receive a BYE on Saturday and compete in the Championship Game on Sunday against the winner of the Maryland State Champion Upper Marlboro Mustangs / Delaware Champions Wilmington Soldiers.

The winner of the Championship Game will move on to the National Championship Tournament in Orlando Florida.
