Highland vball falls in VISAA quarterfinals

Highland School Volleyball lost in the Virginia Independent Schools Athletic Association quarterfinals at Peninsula Catholic last Wednesday.

Set scores were: 18-25, 25-23, 21-25, 22-25.

Coach Gary Hicklin: "Just a tough match against a senior trio and a big front line," Coach Gary Hicklin said. "Their libero was recognized for 2,000 career digs before the match began. But, we went at them and were in the match.

"Tough loss but we represented ourselves well. I am very proud of them.”

The Lady Hawks finished 11-11 on the season and 4-4 in the Delaney Athletic Conference.
