Donald Leroy Keyser Sr., 91, passed away at his home in Amissville on November 14, 2018.
He was born October 16, 1927, in Baltimore, to the late Robert Lee Keyser and Addie (Whorton) Keyser.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Pam Keyser; his three sons, Leroy Keyser Jr. and wife Amy Keyser of Woodbridge, Donnie Keyser and wife Sue Keyser of Washington, Va., and Lee Keyser of Washington, Va.; two daughters, Michelle Keyser McFarlane and husband Jim McFarlane of Gainesville and Candy Ellis and husband David Ellis of Luray; a sister, Virginia “Beanie” Cloud of Washington, Va.; a brother, Daniel Keyser of Sperryville; 13 grandchildren, Preston McFarlane, Brady McFarlane, Jake McFarlane, Presley Keyser, Dylan Keyser, Austin Keyser. Carla Carter, Jesse Keyser, Chris Keyser, Donnie Keyser Jr., Darrell Atkins, Daphne Archilla and Duane Fincham; nine great grandchildren, Alex Fincham, Bryant Fincham, Claudia Archilla, (great grandson) Archilla, Bryson Keyser, Shelton Keyser, Dalton Smith, Kristen Keyser and Lorena Keyser, and two great-great granddaughters.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Marie Rutherford and Jeanetta Pullen and his daughter Phyllis (Keyser) Atkins.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, November 18, at Moser Funeral Home in Warrenton. The funeral will take place at 11 a.m. Monday, November 19, at Washington Baptist Church, 180 Gay St., Washington, Va., with burial following at Washington Masonic Cemetery in Washington, Va. A reception will follow at the church.
