Lemuel R. “Bobby” Hoffman, 71, passed at his home in Bealeton on Sunday, March 11, 2018.
He was born February 1, 1947, in Riverdale, Maryland, to the late Lemuel Claude & Marguerite Heflin Hoffman.
Mr. Hoffman worked as a sales consultant for 42 years with Olan Mills. After retirement, he loved to operate the children’s train at the mall.
Survivors include his wife of 29 years, Stella L. Hoffman; his daughter, Amberah Hoffman of Bealeton; his stepson, Troy Mandley of Culpeper; his stepdaughter, Michelle Mandley of Front Royal; three brothers, George Hoffman, Ashby Hoffman and Charles Hoffman; three sisters, Lillie Johnson, Carolyn Dunbar and Jeanette Baker, and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Louise Utterback and Shirley Digges; a brother, Garland Hoffman; a nephew, Ricky Utterback, and a niece, Laura Lee Haley.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 14, at Moser Funeral Home in Warrenton. The funeral service will take place at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 15, at the funeral home, followed by interment at Mt. Carmel cemetery in Midland.
