Linda Lee Hargett, 54, of Warrenton, went home to be with The Lord on Friday, June 2, at 11:45pm at Fauquier Hospital due to sudden cardiac arrest.
She was born Thursday, Dec. 27, 1962, at 9:30 p.m. in Fauquier County. Ms. Hargett was a 1982 graduate of Fauquier High School.
She was a devoted daughter and loving sister. She had been a caregiver to her mother for over a decade. She had previously worked at Walmart in Warrenton and Dynacorp at Vint Hill Farms Station, as well as operated a carpet cleaning business for many years.
She is survived by her mother, Ann Lee Hargett; her twin sister, Brenda Groves and her husband Jeff; her nieces, Candace Rogers and husband Josh, Stephanie Williard and companion Jay, Amanda Kubat and husband Vince and Emily Snyder and husband Chris; her nephew, Brandon Groves; four great-nieces; four great-nephews, and many other extended family members.
She was preceded in death by her father, John David Hargett Sr.; her brother, John David Hargett Jr.; her maternal grandparents, Bruce and Lillian Hargett, and her paternal grandparents, Alton and Catherine Bishop.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 8, at Moser Funeral Home in Warrenton. The service will take place at 2 p.m. Friday, June 9, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at the Warrenton Cemetery.
