Maria Linardakis, 75, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 16, 2018, at her home in Warrenton.
She was born June 27, 1942, in Montreal, Canada, to the late Angelo and Evangelia Timotheatos.
Mrs. Linardakis was the owner of Pete’s Park-N-Eat in Opal for more than 40 years.
Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Peter Linardakis; four children, Georgia Hoover and husband Jimmy of Warrenton, Lenny Linardakis of Warrenton, Angie Hall and husband David of Warrenton and Angelo Linardakis and wife Eleni of Lorton; four sisters, Tina Kassidakis and husband Kostas, Lily Bogdanos and husband Spiro, Bessie Dimopoulos and husband Billy and Helen Salmon and husband Robert, all of Montreal, Canada; 10 grandchildren, Zachary, Peter, Matthew, Ethan, Alex, George, Raquel, Peter, Chris and Maria, and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 20, at Moser Funeral Home in Warrenton. The funeral will take place at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 21, at St. Katherine Greek Orthodox Church, 3149 Glen Carlyn Road, Falls Church. Interment will follow at Fairfax Memorial Park cemetery.
