Nabil K. “Bill” Sharikas, 67, died peacefully at his Bealeton home on December 3, 2017.
Born in Jericho, Jordan on January 21, 1949, he was a son of Naheel and Kiriaco Sharikas.
Mr. Sharikas served in the U.S. Army from 1969 until 1971. He had a longtime career in the restaurant business, owning the Cardinal Restaurant in Warrenton and the Village Café in Bealeton. After selling the café, he became a defense contractor, serving as an interpreter in Operation Iraqi Freedom.
He was dedicated to his family and was a loving father, brother and grandfather.
Survivors include three sons, Kiriako Sharikas, Christopher Sharikas and George Sharikas; a sister, Mary Rafeedie; a brother, Sami Sharikas, and three grandchildren, Vincent, Jacob and Garrett.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Christo Sharikas.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, December 7, at Moser Funeral Home in Warrenton. Rev. Patrick Cardine will conduct the service at 11 a.m. Friday, December 8, at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Culpeper National Cemetery.
