Rosalind Poland Turner, 78, of Midland, died suddenly on April 19, 2017, at Inova Fairfax Hospital.
She was born June 4, 1938, in Merrifield, to the late Russell and Vivian Poland.
Mrs. Turner had been a member in the local Order of the Eastern Star Chapter. She had a passion for gardening, loved to cook and was frequently the host for her large extended family. She grew up and lived most of her life in Fauquier County and enjoyed many of the local equestrian events in and around Warrenton.
She was the widow of H. Lee Turner. In addition to her husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by her son, Michael Harding; her brother, Thomas Duane Poland, and a granddaughter, Heather Davis.
Survivors include her son, Ron Harding and wife Julie; her daughter, June Davis and husband D.L.; her sister, Joan Miller; her brothers, Frank Poland and wife Clara, Dwight Poland and wife Brenda; five grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.
A memorial service will take place at 10 a.m. Monday, April 24, at Moser Funeral Home in Warrenton. Interment will be private.
