Louis Simpers Flohr Jr., 93, of Warrenton, passed away on January 20, 2018, at INOVA Fairfax Hospital.
He was born January 20, 1925, in Baltimore, to the late Louis S. Flohr Sr. and Avis Loretta Ecker Flohr.
Mr. Flohr retired from the Central Intelligence Agency and was a longtime member of Our Saviour Lutheran Church in Warrenton.
He is survived by his wife, Rose C. Flohr; his children and their spouses, Linda C. and Michael Bowen, Arlene G. and Doug Kirtley and David A. and Kelley Flohr; his grandchildren, Patricia L. Gould, Robert S. Daggett, Kyle D. Kirtley, Brandon R. Kirtley, Allison Bourassa, Ryan C. Kirtley, David “Justin” Flohr, Elizabeth A. Flohr and Alexis M. Flohr, and his great grandchildren, Daniel A. Daggett, Mia V. Daggett and Gracelyn S. Kirtley.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, January 25, at Moser Funeral Home in Warrenton. The service will take place at 2 p.m. Friday, January 26, at the funeral home. Interment will be private at Bright View Cemetery near Warrenton.
