William Franklin Cornwell, 77, of Warrenton, died peacefully at home on March 20, 2018.
He January 17, 1941, at Opal, to Frederick and Bertha Cornwell, who preceded him in death.
Mr. Cornwell served in the National Guard. He worked as a manager at Canterbury Farm, west of Warrenton, for more than 37 years. Mr. Cornwell was an avid hunter, horseman, animal lover and gardener. His beloved wife, Linda, preceded him in death.
He is survived by a daughter, Wanda Cornwell.
The service will take place at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 29, at at Moser Funeral Home in Warrenton. Interment will follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery in Bealeton.
In lieu of flowers, please bring a non-perishable food item to help fill his truck to donate to the Fauquier Community Food Bank, as he often brought the bounty of his garden to share with the organization and collected donations throughout the community.
