George Roy Trecarten Jr., 44, passed unexpectedly Thursday, November 9, 2017 at his residence in Warrenton.
He was born on October 14, 1973, in New Haven, Conn., to George R. Trecarten Sr. and Ann Venturo Trecarten, currently of North Branford, Conn.
Mr. Trecarten was a beloved son, brother, husband, daddy, colleague and friend. He had many accomplishments in his life: Eagle Scout, graduate of Xavier High School and Quinnipiac University and numerous work accolades while working at the Department of State.
In addition to his parents, survivors include his wife of 12 years, Kim Trecarten; two daughters, Alison and Lorianna Trecarten; a sister, Sherry DelGaudio and husband Jeff of North Branford, Conn., and two nieces, Mariana and Carissa DelGaudio, also of North Branford, Conn.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Thomas and Mary Venturo, and his paternal grandmother, Irma Trecarten.
The family will will receive friends at a memorial gathering for Mr. Trecarten from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, November 18, at Moser Funeral Home in Warrenton. Interment will be private.
A memorial service also will take place at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, November 25, at The Parish of St. Augustine’s, 30 Caputo Road, North Branford, Conn.
Memorial contributions may be made to The Special Olympics.
