Ian George Handyside, 14, of Ashburn, passed away expectantly on Saturday, April 7, 2018.
He was born May 7, 2003, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, to Douglas Handyside of Ashburn and Jennifer Borner Handyside of Ofallon, Illinois.
In addition to his parents, Ian is survived by his brother, Travis Borner; his paternal grandparents, George and Honey Handyside of Pittsburgh; his maternal grandfather, Tom Borner and his wife Sue of Pittsburgh; his maternal grandmother, Debbie Croft and her husband Bob of Pittsburgh, and by many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends.
Ian was a selfless young man with a wisdom beyond his years. He touched the lives and hearts of people far and wide with his actions and words. Ian will be sorely missed in this world that needs more caring and compassion.
The service will be held at 4 p.m. Wednesday, April 11, at Moser Funeral Home in Warrenton. Interment is private.
