Jeanette Louise Fusile, 75, of Gainesville, was peacefully called to Heaven on September 9, 2017.
She was born September 18, 1941, in Juneau, Alaska, to the late Carmel C. Scheid Wald of Austin, Minnesota and Glendon W. Wald.
Jeanette was passionate about caring for people from her time in nursing in Washington, D.C., to her years in Northern Virginia real estate and ultimately to her more than 35 years of serving so many brides and grooms from her store “Jeanette’s Bridal” in Manassas. She retired several years ago as the longtime business owner. A loving wife, mom, sister, daughter and grandmother, she will be missed for her quick wit, her compassion and her never ending desire to help those in need.
Survivors include her three loving children, Jeffrey P. Fusile and wife Teresa of Richmond Hill, Georgia, Jill I. Eckert of Bristow and Dana L. Fusile Ryder and husband Raymond of Sagamore Hills, Ohio; eight grandchildren, Bianca Fusile, Sabrina Eckert, Regina Fusile, Drew Eckert, Joe Fusile, Alex Fusile, Wade Fusile and Mina Ryder; her loving sister, Mary Ann Hanson and husband James of Fremont, Nebraska. The late Raymond “Giles” Healy and Chuck and Lois Moyer, who survive, were also very special people in Mrs. Fusile’s life.
A memorial service will take place at 1 p.m. Friday, September 15, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Warrenton. There will be a small reception following the ceremony for family and very close friends.
The family requests that donations to your favorite charity be made in lieu of flowers.
