Myrtle Virginia Jenkins, 90, of Amissville, passed away on March 18, 2018, at Mary’s Place in Culpeper.
She was born June 27, 1927, at Woodville, to the late Charles W. Jenkins and Rosa Sisk Jenkins.
Mrs. Jenkins retired as a cashier with Safeway. She was a faithful member of Warrenton Baptist Church who enjoyed being around people and had a deep and abiding faith in God.
Survivors include her children, Beverly Hayes and husband Joseph of Catlett and Jeffrey K. Jenkins and wife Patricia of Wheelersburg, Ohio; her sister, Peggy Beasley of Atlanta; five grandchildren, Jamie Pohlmann, Shannon Edwards, Kim Baker, Andrew Jenkins and Zachary Jenkins, and five great grandchildren, Grace Pohlmann, Kate Pohlmann, Brittney Hayes, Caroline Edwards and Virginia Edwards.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Franklin Jenkins; two sons, Roy T. Jenkins and Kevin Jenkins, and a sister, Mildred Brown.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday, March 25, at Moser Funeral Home in Warrenton. The service will take place at 10 a.m. Monday, March 26, at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Culpeper National Cemetery (new section).
