William Eric “Jay” Fox Jr., 25, of Berryville, passed away Feb. 25, 2017 in Berryville.
He was born on December 1, 1991, in Warrenton.
A 2010 graduate of Clarke County High School, Mr. Fox earned his associate’s degree in science from Lord Fairfax Community College in 2012. He was employed by Opequon Water Reclamation facility since July 2013.
He was shy as a young child but quickly evolved into a caring, easygoing spirit who always was there to lend a helping hand. He loved helping his father on his River Edge Farm. He volunteered for the Leila Rose Foundation, dedicated to assisting families affected by childhood medical needs. If help was needed, Mr. Fox stepped up to assist.
Survivors include his wife, Amanda Keeler Fox; his daughter, Annabelle Rose Fox; his mother, Leslie I. Loveless; his father and stepmother, William E. Fox Sr. and Peg Fry; his grandmother, Shaaron Loveless, and his brothers, Brandon Pahl, John Fox, Eric Fox and Corey Fox.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, March 3, at Moser Funeral Home in Warrenton. The service will take place at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 4, at the funeral home. Inurnment will follow at St. James Baptist Church Cemetery in Bealeton.
