>NO ONE needs a semi-automatic
so what do you consider a semi-automatic? Thats way too broad. Semi autos make up over 50% of all guns in the US.

Term limits but first we need to have donation limits to political campaigns, otherwise it will continue to be who is for sale to the highest bidder. Plus we need a limit to how much the President can spend of taxpayer money to go to the Winter white House (already $160,000,000). Lot of school metal detectors could have been bought with that kind of money. Just saying. Blaine Johnson

I pray that it makes a difference. Too many innocent people are killed for no reason. Your average American is afraid to go to school, to a concert , to any kind of public gathering because a madman with a gun can end your life !! I've always been a conservative, but I will vote the NRA-backed candidates down. NO ONE needs a semi-automatic or a huge magazine clip. What...you need to take down that dangerous deer with a semi &100; bullets ??!!! Give me a break ! I'm with the kids & will be voting accordingly. Martinkus has it right !

Agree with BJ!
Common sense gun laws are needed. Former presidential candidate John Kasich (current Ohio governor) is spearheading an effort. Also, agree with BJ that lobbyists play a huge role; e.g., NRA filling the pockets of select members of the House and Senate, not to mention the president during the past election cycle. Compromise is needed!

Hope so, but doubt it! Too many politicians in the pockets of big lobbyists.
