Mr. Trump is a "schmendrick," plain and simple, as are many of his cabinet members and Republican leaders on Capitol Hill. He is an embarrassment and could easily be the poster child for the 25th amendment. The Republican Party, as many of us knew growing up, is dead. It is now Trump's party. I hope the right-wingers and evangelicals are happy - most folks are not amused by Mr. Trump's antics.

"those kinds of skill sets AREN'T as prevalent as they once were.." But I am starting to see a change with the younger folks that didn't have their lives handed to them on a silver platter, small farms, art and crafts, making own soap, growing herbs for health, build your own furniture, the old skills and knowledge that got people through the hard times and the good.

If only we could go back to where much of what we have was made in American it would be something to see. Unfortunately, those kinds of skill sets are as prevalent as they once were, it meant working with your hands, long hours, low pay, and dangerous conditions. We as a country have wrapped ourselves in swaddling cloth, expecting other countries with poor labor conditions to produce our "goods" for us at a cheaper price. Things that may last a year before it is thrown out to add to the mountain of trash being produced daily, not reused, recycled, re-purposed like my parents and grandparents did in their lifetimes. So much for prosperity, as it destroys our world physically while satisfying our needs physiologically. I have no problem with less junk from China. And that "tax cut" should be called what it is, a tax CUT for the rich, and a tax INCREASE for everyone else.

"Don the Con" has essentially wiped out whatever benefit anyone had with the so-called tax cut of last year.

Trump never bothers to understand history so the lesson of the disaster wrought by the Smoot-Hawley Tariff Act of 1930 is completely lost on him. Unfortunately, everyone who shops at Walmart and/or works in any industry that depends on sales to China (or, for that matter, anywhere outside of Trump's "Great" America) will soon learn that painful lesson. Elections have consequences, people!

See it for what it is: A new tax unilaterally imposed.

Unless it includes tariffs on Trump products being imported from China then it's a bunch of BS.
