CHEMetrics, Inc. is a manufacturer of visual and instrumental water analysis test kits for use by the wastewater, power, petroleum, chemical, food and environmental industries all over the world. We employ approximately 65 team members in Fauquier County, Virginia, about 50 miles West of Washington, DC.

Assembly/Shipping Technician I

Seeking an individual to work full time in a team environment to support the company’s product line. This position reports to the Assembly Supervisor. Follows written and verbal instructions to pull product from Finished Goods to fill orders, inspecting product prior to packing to ensure product specifications are met. Packs and ships products according to established DOT/IATA regulations for shipment via UPS and Federal Express. Performs repetitive bench operations to mass-produce water test kit components and final products. Works at different workstations as needs require. Observes and follows safety rules. Duties are performed for up to 4 hours with no scheduled breaks and require frequent lifting and/or moving of up to 25 pounds, occasionally up to 50 pounds.
