304-acre Hickory Tree Farm sells for $6.7 million
Just south of Middleburg, Hickory Tree Farm features five barns, five tenant houses and a training track.
A 304-acre horse farm in Northern Fauquier near Middleburg sold last week for $6.7 million.
This home on 50 acres near Upperville sold for $2.62 million.
Hickory Tree Farm features a manor house built in 1909, a pool, a studio/office, five tenant houses, five barns, a three-quarter-mile training track and riding trails.
The property went on the market in October, with an asking price of $7.95 million, according to Realtor.com.
Kathryn Harrell with Washington Fine Properties represented the seller. Helen MacMahon of Sheridan-MacMahon Realtors represented the buyer.
The Virginia Outdoors Foundation holds a conservation easement on most of the land.

Also last week, a home on 50 acres near Upperville sold for $2.62 million.
Built in 1997, the 9,000-square-foot house in the Greystone Subdivision has five bedrooms, eight bathrooms, a pool, a tennis court and a garage.
The Marshall District property went on the market in July 2019 with an asking price of $2.775 million, according to Realtor.com.
