Fauquier County and Warrenton officials released this video Friday, March 20.

"This is tough, but so are we,” County Fire/Rescue Chief Darren Stevens said.

Although public buildings have closed because of the pandemic, local government continues to operate and to communicate with citizens by email, phone, Skype and other electronic methods, officials explained.

“Our paramount concern is the health and welfare of our citizens,” county board of supervisors Chairwoman Mary Leigh McDaniel said.
