Family singing its way through the quarantine

Click above to watch “For the Longest Quarantine — Tessier Family Singers.”
For a local family with nine children, the last two months really have seemed The Longest Time as Billy Joel first sang in 1983.

Carole and Rob Tessier’s brood has talent and lots of experience with Fauquier Community Theatre productions.

So, the young Tessiers — ages 5 to 20 — put their creativity to work around the 10-acre homestead near New Baltimore.

“For the Longest Quarantine — Tessier Family Singers” debuted Sunday night on YouTube. By Monday afternoon, it already had been viewed almost 1,200 times.

Families all over Fauquier and beyond can relate.

So good to see the hills are alive with the sound of music! This was fantastic and thank you for sharing your talents.

This is just brilliant! Thank you, Tessier Family, for sharing this and giving all of us (who had similar grand plans about all we would accomplish while socially isolated) a reason to smile. This was so charming that I had to invest some time to find/reset my password to be able to log in and comment. And, not to be ungrateful, but...when can we look forward to the next one?
