The Plains home and 18.6 acres sell for $1 million
Built in 2007, this home and 18.6 acres on Rock Hill Mills Road near The Plains sold for $1 million.
A two-bedroom home on 18.6 acres near The Plains sold recently for $1 million.
Built in 2007, the 3,600-square-foot stucco-clad home has three bathrooms, bamboo flooring, Italian tile in the kitchen and baths, 6-inch-thick interior walls and a security system.
The Rock Hill Mill Road property features a four-stall stable with a one-bedroom apartment, a riding trail and Little River frontage.
The Scott District property went on the market in August 2019 with an asking price of $1.8 million, according to Realtor.com. The asking price recently had dropped to $1.25 million.
Rebecca Poston of Thomas & Talbot Real Estate represented the seller and John Coles of the same brokerage represented the buyer.
The most recent list of Fauquier property transfers also includes the $1.46-million sale of 99.4 acres near Delaplane.
The Land Trust of Virginia holds conservations easements on the two parcels along Scuffleburg Road in Marshall District.
