Warrenton police arrested the suspect in an attempted burglary of an Alexandria Pike business Thursday.
Police at 5:59 a.m. responded to a reported burglary at Warrenton Power Trucks, Officer Chai Fuller wrote in a press release Thursday night. Arriving at 156 Alexandria Pike, “they learned an employee had confronted a white male subject that was found on the premises after hours and without permission. The subject fled the scene and it was determined he had been burglarizing the business.”
Officers identified the suspect as Charles Wright Kunkle II, 47, of Warrenton. Police arrested Mr. Kunkle later Thursday and charged him with burglary.
He remains in the Fauquier County Adult Detention Center pending a bond hearing.
