Police warn of ‘aggressive bull’ on the loose in Warrenton

A bull, deemed aggressive by police, was on the run in Warrenton Friday afternoon.

Town police issued an alert just after noon saying officers were in the area behind Lindsay Buick GMC at 250 W. Shirley Ave. for a report of an "aggressive bull."

Business around the area were notified to keep employees inside and people were told to avoid the area.

"If you see the bull, do not approach it and call our non-emergency number (540-347-1100)," police said on Facebook.

As of 4 p.m., there was no word on if the bull had been captured, or where he came from. Though some commenters on the police department's post said they saw him along U.S. 29, just munching on grass.
