Channel 4 to broadcast Friday from MooThru

WRC’s “One Tank Trips” will broadcast from MooThru from 6 to 7 a.m. May 17.

WRC-TV 4 news will feature live broadcast segments from Moo Thru near Remington on Friday morning, May 17.

As part of the morning news program’s “One Tank Trips,” the Channel 4 crew will feature Fauquier County from 6 to 7 a.m.

“They are filming throughout the county today and tomorrow,” Warrenton-Fauquier Visitor Center Manager Becky Crouch wrote in an email. “They interviewed the mayor of Warrenton this morning and did some other Old Town Warrenton filming in spite of the rain.

“They would like to have a good local crowd on site. Gee whiz, when is the last time you had ice cream for breakfast?”

The ice cream shop on Routes 15/29 north of Remington features freshly-made local products from farmer Kenny Smith’s dairy.

Love the Moo! Wish there was a small counter in downtown Warrenton and another small outpost in Marshall.
