The 19th season of “Living Christmas Tree” concerts will take place Dec. 12-15 at Warrenton United Methodist Church.
The Warrenton United Methodist Church next week will present six “Living Christmas Tree” concerts.
For the first time, about 100 reserved seats will be available at $10 each in Rows 3, 4 and 5. People with those tickets will have guaranteed seating. All other seats in the sanctuary will be free and available through the website in advance, in church on Sunday mornings and at the door.
The performances will take place:
• Thursday and Friday, Dec. 12-13, at 7:30 p.m.
• Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 14-15, at 4 p.m. and 7 p.m.
It takes almost 150 volunteers to stage the concerts, which the church started in 2001. In 18 years, there have been 98 performances.
The eight-tier tree structure weighs 3,000 pounds and can support 11,000 pounds. Measuring 21 feet tall and 18 feet wide, the tree supports four dozen singers.
