In her new position, Ms. Stansell will be responsible for providing commercial banking solutions for members with business locations in Fauquier, Culpeper, Rappahannock and Orange counties. The credit union’s commercial loan portfolio includes real estate, construction, equipment, vehicles and lines of credit.
Ms. Stansell has more than decades of experience in financial services and banking. Most recently she worked as a vice president commercial relationship manager for Atlantic Union Bank.

A Warrenton resident, Ms. Stansell is a 2017 graduate of Leadership Fauquier, a Warrenton Rotary Club, member co-chairman of the Fauquier County Human Trafficking Prevention Project, chairman of Experience Old Town Warrenton, a director of the Be the Change Foundation, a Virginia Advisory Council of U.S. Global Leadership Coalition member and Mason Enterprise Center advisory board member. She was named Fauquier County Board of Supervisors Center District Citizen of the Year in 2015.
She will work from the not-for-profit, member-owned credit union’s Warrenton office.
