Bealeton fitness center plans September opening

Anytime Fitness plans an early September opening in Bealeton.

Richie Parsons, who owns the Warrenton franchise, has leased the former hardware store space in the Bealeton Village Center, he announced Wednesday. True Value CK Home & Hardware closed early this year after a decade in business.

Remodeling of the 6,400-square-foot space will begin next week, Mr. Parsons said.

The gym will include “cardio, strength, functional and free weight equipment along with state-of-the-art fitness technology like body composition scanning and heart rate monitoring,” he added. “The facility will be open 24/7/365 for members and members also receive full reciprocal access to over 4,000 Anytime Fitness clubs worldwide.”

Mr. Parsons in February 2019 opened his fourth Anytime Fitness franchise in the Warrenton Village Center. He bought his first franchise from the Woodbury, Minn.-based company in 2014.

Last year, he announced a plan to open in a new building at Mintbrook, the 475-home, mixed-used development in Bealeton. But, his new gym instead will operate in the nearby shopping center.

“Our goal is to continue the success we have had in Warrenton by providing a clean, organized, upscale gym environment where anyone and everyone feels comfortable and motivated to reach their goals,” he said. “The Bealeton facility will be nearly identical to the Warrenton facility and we will continue to maintain the excellent standard of service and coaching in Bealeton that our members in Warrenton have come to expect and appreciate.”
